Ariana Grande has shared a snippet of a new song with Nicki Minaj. It’s called “The Light is Coming,” which Ariana teased on Twitter earlier this month. She also mentioned on her recent “Fallon” appearance that the track is set to be on her forthcoming album, Sweetener. Listen to the preview below.

Ariana recently shared “No Tears Left to Cry,” her first new music since her last album and the Manchester bombing. Nicki and Ariana previously joined forced before for 2016’s Dangerous Woman track “Side to Side.”

Nicki is also gearing up to release her new record, Queen. She recently announced that she is pushing back the album’s release date. It’s now set to arrive August 10 instead of June 15. So far, the rapper has shared “Chun-Li” and “Barbie Tingz.”

Father John Misty has debuted a new song called “Please Don’t Die,” as Stereogum points out. 

He played the track with the Ulster Orchestra during his set at Biggest Weekend 2018 in Belfast. Watch it happen below.

 




“Please Don’t Die” is set to appear on Josh Tillman’s forthcoming album, God’s Favorite Customer, which is out June 1.

The follow-up to last year’s Pure Comedy also includes the singles “Mr. Tillman,” “Just Dumb Enough to Try,” and “Disappointing Diamonds Are the Rarest of Them All.” Tillman is currently on tour behind the album—check out his itinerary and buy tickets here.
